Rectory Cottage is a two bedroom self-catering modern cottage let in the grounds of an 18th Century Old Rectory.
Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available in the main house in a double room with private bathroom (adjacent, not en-suite).
We charge £75 per night for two people and £55 for a single person including a full English breakfast.

The cottage is in an excellent location between Abergavenny, Raglan and Monmouth. The accommodation consists of one double bedroom and one small bunk bedroom with adult sized beds.

The cottage has a private patio area with seating, a BBQ and a wok firepit. The patio leads onto the secure back garden with a trampoline and other outdoor toys for your children’s use. We are very happy to accept dogs as long as they do not sleep on the carpeted areas or on the beds. There are chickens in the garden that can be shut away should they need to be. Egg collecting is encouraged but not chicken chasing!

The cottage is well equipped with a 37” flat-screen television, DVD player and plenty of board games, cards and toys. We provide washing and drying facilities in the main house, a secure room for a bicycle and a freezer for a fish.

We pride ourselves in ensuring that you have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. You will be provided with a welcome pack on arrival which consists of milk, homemade bread and our own eggs. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything to make your stay with us as easy and hassle free as possible. All linen is provided and should you require one, we can provide a travel cot and a high-chair.

Rectory Cottage is situated 600ft from the River Usk. The river edge is a Public footpath along the beautiful Usk Valley Walk. The cottage is within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons National Park, Offa's Dyke, Llanthony Valley and the Wye Valley and we are also moments from Route 42 cycle route.

For food enthusiasts the Abergavenny Food Festival is held in September for which tickets need to be booked in advance. Also we are 5 minutes from Chef Stephen Terry’s Restaurant, The Hardwick, and also only 20 minutes from the well known Restaurants, The Walnut Tree Inn where Shaun Hill is the chef and The Foxhunter. There are many delightful pubs within a few miles of the house too.
